Reliable Reports Lawsuit Filed in Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — On July 3, 2013, attorneys filed a collective/class action lawsuit on behalf of their client under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) as against Reliable Reports. Plaintiffs’ complaint alleges that Reliable Reports knowingly and willfully failed to pay its employees minimum wage and overtime compensation as required under the FLSA.

The complaint alleges that Reliable Reports breached its contract with its Field Rep employees by not paying them for mileage reimbursements and a minimum guaranteed rate of $13.32. The complaint further claims that Reliable Reports pay policies and practices violates applicable state wage and hour laws in each state where Reliable employs Filed Reps and that Reliable Reports has been unjustly enriched at the expense of Plaintiff. The lawsuit is currently pending in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana.
